  2. To develop and evaluate novel fertilizer products and non-conventional sources of plant nutrients for enhancing input use efficiency
  3. To assess organic and inorganic pollutants in soil and develop remediation strategies
Improving soil health for enhancing input use efficiency and productivity 2021-26
  1. To monitor and improve soil chemical and biological environment for enhancing nutrient supplying capacity and productivity
  2. To develop novel fertilizers for improving nutrient use efficiency
  3. To assess metal and metalloid hazard in polluted soils and develop remediation options
