The division envisions fostering mechanisation, energy efficiency, and advanced post-harvest technologies while addressing the unique challenges of diverse Agro-climatic regions, thereby contributing to sustainable agricultural development and food security. The Division is also committed to preparing high-quality human resources for the development of agricultural machinery by offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The division is assessing the quality of machines developed by manufacturers to ensure high-quality equipment is available for farmers.
