Teaching
- The Division imparts postgraduate teaching to M. Sc. and Ph. D scholars under trimester system. These students are guided for their research programmes by the Research Advisory Committee.
- The thrust areas of research of the Division are taken into account while selecting the research problems of the PG students.
- Division has revised its courses in line with the ICAR unified PG courses. The entire course curriculum of the Division has been revised which gives more emphasis on participatory approach in extension.
- During 2011-12, 27 PG courses were offered including compulsory courses PGS 502 (Technical Writing and Communication Skills) and PGS 505 (Agricultural Research, Research Ethics and Rural Development Programmes) for all students of IARI.
