- Molecular Basis of Genetic Plasticity of Rice to fluctuating Environmental Conditions on growing by Direct-sowing or Transplanting.
- Deciphered Regulatory Functions of Pup1 QTL in Phosphorus Deficiency Tolerance (Phosphorus Use Efficiency) in rice.
- Identified a rare obligate sexual plant of Cenchrus ciliaris (IC0590889; INGR11062), second of its kind in the world, registered with NBPGR, New Delhi as a novel germplasm.
- Developed, maintained and utilized a Unique F2 Mapping Populationa of Cenchrus ciliaris segregating for Apomictic, Facultative and Sexual modes of reproduction.
- Developed Molecular Markers for Apomixis and Sexuality in Cenchrus (utilizing the unique F2 mapping populations as well as the global germplasm of Cenchrus spp.) very useful in breeding programmes for Cenchrus ciliaris.
