  1. Developed five cauliflower F1 hybrid/ varieties namely Pusa Snowball Hybrid-1, Pusa Snowball Hybrid-2, Pusa Hybrid-301, Pusa Purple cauliflower-1 and Pusa Snowball K-2 and two cucumber variety/hybrid namely Pusa Cucumber Hybrid-18 and DG-8
  1. Developed a large number of CMS lines in snowball and Indian cauliflower and 3 lines Ogu3A and Ogu33A were registered with NBPGR, New Delhi
  1. Optimised protocols for development of haploids and doubled haploids in cauliflower, cabbage and cucumber through isolated microspore culture and ovary culture
  1. Developed a large number of breeding lines in Brassica oleracea through inter-specific hybridization with related Brassica species for introgression of male sterile cytoplasm and black rot resistance genes
  1. Utilized the CMS system in developing F1 hybrids in Snowball (Pusa Snowball Hybrid-1) and mid maturity (Pusa Hybrid-301) group of cauliflower for the first time in India
